The Capsule Hunt
Small printed capsules, hidden around Meade County. Each one holds a single invite code.
Nothing is hidden yet.
The first capsules go out shortly after the beta opens. This page will say where in the county they are — in general terms — and how many are still waiting to be found. Check back.
The beta is open to 250 members and 241 places are left. When those are gone, a code from a capsule still gets you in.
Where to look
General areas only. Half the fun is that nobody gets told the hiding place — and the people who let us put one on their property agreed to a small box, not to a map.
No areas to list yet.
How it works
- Every capsule is somewhere we were given permission to put one. Public ground, or a business or landowner who said yes. If you find one, take the code and leave the capsule where it is for us to collect.
- One code, one account. A code is used up the moment somebody registers with it.
- Nothing is hidden anywhere you would have to climb, dig, or cross a fence to reach it. If you are doing any of those, you are not looking in the right place.
- We go back for them. A capsule nobody finds within 42 days gets collected. It is a treasure hunt, not litter.
- Finders get a badge. The Capsule Finder mark sits on your profile picture and cannot be earned any other way. See all badges.
While you are out — get verified
Verified Local is the badge that says you actually live here. You get it by scanning a QR flyer somewhere in the county. It takes a minute, it never expires, and it is going to be required for more of the site as the beta grows.
